Principals

Jason Ervin - Principal

Welcome to McMillan Junior High!

I am Jason Ervin, and I am proud to serve as the Principal of this amazing school. The 2026-27 school year marks my 20th year in education, and I am incredibly thankful that 14 of those years have been here at McMillan. This will be my sixth year as Principal. Prior to that, I served for six years as an Assistant Principal and spent three years as a teacher, coach, and Athletic Coordinator here at McMillan.

One of the greatest joys of spending so many years at McMillan is watching families grow alongside our school. I have had the privilege of teaching, coaching, or serving as an administrator for many students and then welcoming their younger siblings through our doors. Those relationships are what make McMillan such a special place, and I look forward to continuing to partner with our students, families, staff, and community to help every student succeed.

My daughter, Chloe, is in 10th grade, and my son, Cooper, is a 4th grader at Smith Elementary.

One thing you will hear often this year is, "We Are McMillan." Those three words represent who we are as a school community. Student success is a team effort, and it takes all of us working together. Parents, students, teachers, staff, administrators, and our community each play an important role in creating an environment where every student can learn, grow, and thrive.

Please never hesitate to contact me with any questions, concerns, or ideas. We value our partnership with families and truly appreciate your feedback as we continue striving to make McMillan the very best it can be. You know your child better than anyone, and together we can help make their junior high experience both successful and memorable.

I am grateful for the opportunity to lead a campus filled with outstanding students, dedicated staff, and supportive families. I know the 2026-27 school year is going to be another incredible year at McMillan. We Are McMillan!
